Description

This advanced course is designed specifically for speech language pathologists who treat dysphagia. The course will provide a comprehensive overview of neural organization relative to swallowing that goes beyond the scope of cranial nerves.  Clinicians will have a deeper understanding of neurophysiology related to the sensory and motor systems of the oropharyngeal swallow for immediate clinical application. Best practice will be supported by current research.

This course is offered for .20 ASHA CEUs (Intermediate Level; Professional area).
